Welcome to divergenceADHD, a community platform dedicated to providing ADHD awareness, education, advocacy, and support. This agreement applies specifically to public subscribers who have access to the educational and advocacy sections of the platform.
By subscribing and using the platform, you agree to abide by the terms outlined in this agreement, alongside the General Terms & Conditions.
2. Your Responsibilities as a Public Subscriber
As a public subscriber, you agree to:

Follow the platform’s guidelines on content sharing and discussions.

Acknowledge that while open conversations are encouraged, moderators may challenge misinformation or non-evidence-based claims.

Avoid spreading misinformation, particularly regarding health, science, or legal matters.
3. Community Engagement and Acceptable Use
To maintain a safe and productive space, users must:

Respectful Communication: Treat all users with kindness and professionalism.

No Hate Speech or Harassment: Personal attacks, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind are prohibited.

Content Sharing: Users must ensure any shared content is evidence-based, relevant, and does not promote misinformation.

Prohibited Content: The following content is strictly forbidden:

Spam, promotional material, or advertising without approval.

Sexually explicit, violent, or illegal material.
-
Links or discussions promoting unverified health claims.

Any attempt to solicit personal or sensitive user information.
4. Content Moderation and Public Discourse

Moderators reserve the right to challenge, hide, or remove content that does not align with the platform’s evidence-based standards.

Repeated violations may result in restricted posting privileges or removal from the platform.

Users may submit an appeal if they believe moderation actions were taken unfairly by contacting by clicking the 'Report a Problem' button on the home page.
5. Public vs. View-Only Areas

View-Only Sections: Some areas of the platform are for informational purposes only, where commenting is not allowed.

Public Open Chat: Users can contribute, discuss, and seek support within the community guidelines. This area is actively moderated to ensure discussions remain safe and constructive.
6. Reporting Violations
If you witness a breach of the guidelines, you can report it through:

Reports are taken seriously and will be reviewed by the moderation team promptly.
