Neurodevelopmental Nurse Specialist

Nicola is a compassionate, down-to-earth, and dedicated Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) and a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber with over 15 years of nursing experience across diverse settings, including Learning Disability and Forensic Services, as well as the private sector. For more than a decade, Nicola has specialized in neurodevelopmental services, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with ADHD.


Nicola’s practice is grounded in a holistic, person-centred approach. Nicola works collaboratively with individuals and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes, fostering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where everyone feels heard and understood.


Nicola holds specialist training in ADHD through UKAAN and has developed strong expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments using validated tools and evidence-based approaches. As a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber, Nicola also has extensive experience in medication titration and ongoing treatment management. Nicola offers tailored care plans that integrate both medical and holistic support to meet each person’s unique needs.


Nicola is passionate about improving access to high-quality ADHD assessment and care, reducing stigma, and helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves so they can thrive. Nicola’s personal experience as a parent to a child with ADHD further enriches their empathy and insight into the real-world challenges families face.


Ultimately, Nicola’s goal is to empower individuals with ADHD to reach their full potential through compassionate, expert, and collaborative care.
