Here’s an interesting thought for a Monday morning. Recently in conversation Matt said that people sometimes can’t have a review because they are expensive, obviously referring to private clinics. This has left me thinking about the costs of healthcare because the clinic I run costs less than what the NHS pays itself to deliver the same thing with our taxes. There is a disconnect between what healthcare costs to deliver and what people pay for it. An expectation that healthcare is free, but even the free NHS service is expensive, more expensive in fact than divergence. Go figure.
