How do you store medication in hot weather (>25 degC)
The instructions for Elvanse state:
Do not store above 25 degC.
Can you store it in the fridge?
I live in a flat that’s like a greenhouse in the summer with no cool rooms.

This comment has gone round and round in my mind, because it set me to thinking about how important hydration is, particularly when it’s warm. This is something that often comes up in our clinic; people forget to drink, take stimulants, their blood volume and therefore blood pressure drops and they wonder why their heart is racing. Don’t just put your Elvanse in the fridge people, get a nice cool drink whilst you’re in there.
